Rig Bound was established in 2004 to meet the requirements of a steadily growing Industry with ever increasing demands and offers a complete range of DNVGL CN2.7-1 certified cargo carrying units (CCU’s). Rig Bound currently provides units for operations in a number of regions including Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, Guyana, French Guyana and Colombia.

Rig Bound Cargo Carrying Units ( CCU’s ) are certified to both DNVGL 2.7-1 and or EN 12079 by primarily DNVGL or Lloyds Register. Rig Bound provides its specifications to one of its preferred manufacturers to ensure that our CCU’s are the best available design to ensure that the unit is more user friendly. Rig Bound offers a full range of CCUs’ for both long term and adhoc rentals and or sales including:
RB Works with Pre Approved Inspection & Testing Companies to perform it’s CCU Visual, Sling Visual, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Load Testing. Our Inspections meet all Internationally Recognised Standards for each individual Inspection Discipline.
RB has a comprehensive online Tracking and Management system that records all CCU and transport information. This system enables RB to know the location of each unit as well as the logistical information that accompanies each job. This management system enables Rigbound to provide usage/chase reports which can be used to assist our client in streamlining their operation and cost.
RB supplies a complete range of DNV CN 2.7-1/EN 12079 certified Cargo Carrying Units (CCU’s) and offers both long term and ad-hoc rentals. Some examples include Baskets, Containers, Half Heights, Covered boxes, Drum Racks, Bottle Racks, Tanks and Specialized Equipment Lifting Frames.
RB has a comprehensive maintenance/documentation system in place, assuring conforming fully functional CCU’s. RB offers repairs of offshore containers that are witnessed and approved by DNVGL. RB also uses the dustless blasting system which is a more efficent, environmentally friendly, and cost effective process of sandblasting.
RB has partnered with a DNV/EN approved factories to provide custom and standard units at a high production rate at highly competitive prices. RB can also provide engineering solutions for custom CCU’s.
RB provides a client login on our website to ensure our client has easy access to all information and certification pertaining to rented/client owned RB managed CCUs.
